Swale Borough Council declared a climate and ecological emergency in June 2019 and approved a climate and ecological emergency action plan in April 2020.

Medway Council declared a climate change emergency in April 2019 and approved its climate change action plan in June 2021. More information and details of how you can get involved in tackling the climate emergency are on its Climate Change web page.

We are helping to tackle the emergency with our projects and our grants. We will be adding more information here soon about local action on climate change by others in Swale and Medway.
