We started grant making in 2017, awarding nearly £10,000 for projects run that year.

This was the first set of grants to local charities made from the proceeds of our energy generation.

Kent Wildlife Trust

To train community volunteers at Kent Wildlife Trust’s Oare Marshes Reserve.

Kent Wildlife Trust work closely with local communities to protect habitats in the countryside, coast and town for the benefit of the wildlife and people of Kent.

Seashells Children’s Centre

To install energy efficient LED lighting to reduce running costs.

Seashells Children’s Centre is a Family Hub that aims to improve outcomes for children and their families by working with partners in health, education and family support services.

Sheppey Scouts

Towards renovation work on the Sheppey Scouts HQ to improve the environmental performance of the building and reduce its running costs.
